Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer – Java to join our team. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on experience in test automation using Java and Selenium, along with good exposure to API testing, automation frameworks, CI/CD, and database validation.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks for Web and API testing.
Create and execute test scenarios, test cases, and automation scripts.
Perform API testing using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured.
Work with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
Validate application data using SQL queries, databases, XML, and flat files.
Collaborate with development and QA teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Identify,



analyze, and track defects through resolution.
Integrate automation suites with Jenkins/CI-CD pipelines.
Use Maven and Git for build and source-code management.
Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and status reporting.

Mandatory Skills
6–12 years of experience in Automation Testing.
Strong hands-on experience with Java and Selenium.
Experience in API Testing and RESTful Web Services.
Valuable knowledge of Rest Assured and/or Cucumber.
Experience in building/maintaining automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of Maven and Git.
Positive knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum testing methodologies.
Good understanding of microservices architecture.
