Role: Software Engineer / Junior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot and REST APIs.
Write clean, reusable and maintainable code following coding standards.
Work with SQL databases and implement basic database operations.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
Perform unit testing, debugging and defect resolution.
Participate in code reviews and follow Git/CI-CD development practices.
Work with senior developers/architects on application enhancements and modernization initiatives.
Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve coding, testing and documentation productivity.
Collaborate with QA, BA,



UI and DevOps teams in an Agile workplace.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections and Exception Handling.
Working knowledge of Spring Boot, REST APIs and SQL.
Basic understanding of JPA/Hibernate and Microservices.
Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle and JUnit.
Positive analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to learn cloud, DevOps, modern application architecture and AI-assisted engineering.

Good to Have: Angular/React basics, Docker, Azure/AWS and exposure to GenAI coding tools
