Job Description Proposal Engineer (Instrumentation)

Experience: 0–5 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma – Instrumentation/E&I;/Electronics

Key Responsibilities

Prepare technical and commercial proposals for instrumentation projects.

Review RFQs, tenders, specifications, BOQs, P&IDs; and instrument datasheets.

Select instruments, control valves and automation equipment as per requirements.

Prepare BOQ/MTO, costing, quotations and technical compliance statements.

Coordinate with vendors, customers, sales and engineering teams.

Obtain and compare vendor quotations and support techno-commercial negotiations.

Handle customer technical queries and ensure timely submission of proposals.

Required Skills

Valuable knowledge of industrial instrumentation and automation.

Ability to read P&IDs;, datasheets and technical specifications.

Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and proposal costing.

Robust communication, coordination and analytical skills.

EPC/process industry experience will be an advantage.
