Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical direction and serving as the main liaison for all application-related activities. The position demands coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure the solutions meet business needs while overseeing the implementation process from inception to deployment. The role also includes troubleshooting challenges that arise during development and ensuring the final product aligns with organizational goals and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.




- Lead the planning and execution of application development activities to meet project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Professional & Technical Skills:

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday HCM Security.
- Robust knowledge of access control frameworks and security protocols within enterprise applications.
- Experience in configuring and managing user roles, permissions, and security policies in Workday environments.
- Ability to analyze security requirements and implement solutions that safeguard sensitive data.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and troubleshooting security-related issues in complex systems.
