Role Title: Project Engineer - Seat Development. Location: Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Department: Product Development / R&D.;

Role Summary: We are looking for someone who can own the entire lifecycle of a seat: concept design development validation certification customer handling vendor management tooling final delivery. This role is for someone who can take a seat from a rough idea on paper to a fully certified, customer-approved product ready for production. The person should be able to interact confidently with OEMs, vendors, testing agencies, and internal teams. They will handle design, development, documentation, certification, costing, and timelines end-to-end.

Requirements

- Product Design & Engineering: Understand customer requirements, technical standards, and application needs.
- Create concept designs,



2D drawings, 3D models, BOM, and specifications.
- Select materials, mechanisms, foam compositions, trims, and structural components.
- Ensure manufacturability, durability, ergonomics, and safety compliance.
- Customer Interaction & Project Ownership: Attend customer meetings, collect technical inputs, and translate them into design actions.
