About the Prospect:

We are expanding our publishing operations team and looking for experienced publishing professionals across multiple specialized roles in pre-press, typesetting, and digital content conversion.

Open Positions & Key Requirements

1. LaTeX Pagination Executive

- Role: Handle complex typesetting and page composition using LaTeX/ TeX software for academic books and journals.
- Key Skills: LaTeX coding, macro creation, page layout,math/equation handling, and proof correction.

2. XML Specialist

- Role: Perform XML conversion, tagging, schema validation, and digital enrichment for e-publishing workflows.
- Key Skills: DTD/Schema validation, XSLT, ePub conversion, HTML/XML structure.

3. Quality Control (QC)

- Role: Conduct final quality checks on paginated pages, XML structures, and manuscript standards against client guidelines.
- Key Skills: Eye for detail, proofreading, style sheet verification, layout inspection.

4. Pre-Editing Executive

- Role:



Prepare raw manuscripts for typesetting by structuring files in MS Word or TeX formats, applying style templates, and cleaning up reference citations.
- Key Skills: MS Word pre-editing, macro usage, style application, reference structuring.

5. Graphics Executive

- Role: Process, redraw, and format illustrations, diagrams, and figures for print and digital publishing.
- Key Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, vector redrawing, resolution standards (DPI/PPI), color modes (CMYK/RGB).

Desired Candidate Profile

- Prior experience in the Publishing / e-Publishing / Pre-Press / STM domain.
- Strong understanding of publishing workflows and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
