About the Role:-SandMartin is seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant with 3-5 years of experience to join the Founder's Office and drive finance process transformation initiatives. The role combines accounting expertise with automation and technology adoption, requiring the individual to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement solutions across finance and accounting operations.Working directly with the Founder and senior leadership, the individual will help modernize accounting processes, optimize the use of Tally and related systems, evaluate automation opportunities, and support the implementation of AI-powered and technology-driven solutions across the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities

Finance Process Transformation & Automation

- Analyse existing accounting and finance workflows to identify automation opportunities.
- Lead initiatives to automate bookkeeping, reconciliations, reporting, compliance tracking, and management reporting processes.
- Work closely with internal teams and external technology partners to implement finance automation solutions.
- Drive process standardization and operational efficiency across finance functions.

Tally & Finance Systems Optimization

- Act as the internal subject matter expert for Tally and related accounting systems.
- Evaluate opportunities for Tally integrations, workflow automation, and reporting enhancements.
- Support implementation and optimization of finance technology platforms and ERP solutions.
- Collaborate with software vendors and implementation partners on automation projects.

Financial Controls & Reporting

- Review accounting processes and strengthen internal controls.
- Develop automated MIS,



dashboards, and reporting frameworks.
- Support management with timely financial analysis and operational insights.
- Ensure process changes maintain compliance and audit readiness.

AI & Technology Adoption

- Evaluate AI and automation tools relevant to accounting, finance, and back-office operations.
- Pilot and implement practical AI solutions that improve productivity and reduce manual effort.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies impacting finance and accounting functions.

Requirements

- Qualified or Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, finance operations, audit, controllership, or finance transformation roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally.
- Exposure to finance automation, ERP implementation, system integration, or process improvement projects.
- Understanding of accounting workflows, internal controls, MIS reporting, and compliance processes.
- Interest in AI, automation, and technology-driven transformation within finance functions.
