Position Title : Logistics Officer

Location: Gurgaon Warehouse

Warehouse Facility (12,000 sq. ft.)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Executive to manage the day-to-day operations of a 12,000 sq. ft. warehouse. The role involves overseeing inbound and outbound logistics, maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating with the sales team, ensuring warehouse discipline, and leading warehouse staff while maintaining safety and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inward Material Management

- Coordinate and monitor receipt of incoming materials and products.
- Verify quantity and quality of materials against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure timely unloading, inspection, documentation, and storage of received goods.
- Maintain accurate records of inward transactions in the inventory system.

2. Outbound & Dispatch Management

- Plan and execute timely dispatch of materials as per sales orders and delivery schedules.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, and loading of goods.
- Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for smooth dispatch operations.
- Monitor dispatch documentation, including invoices, delivery challans, and transport records.

3. Inventory Control & Stock Accuracy

- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical stock audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor stock movements and ensure proper inventory tracking and storage practices.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and damages.

4. Sales Team Coordination

- Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Provide real-time stock availability updates.




- Prioritize dispatches based on customer commitments and business requirements.
- Resolve operational issues impacting order processing and delivery timelines.

5. Warehouse Operations & Housekeeping

- Ensure productive utilization of warehouse space and resources.
- Maintain organized storage locations and proper material identification.
- Monitor warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping standards.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.

6. Team Supervision & Safety Compliance

- Supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily operational tasks.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Conduct training on warehouse procedures, safety practices, and material handling.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company EHS guidelines.
- Investigate and report incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork within the warehouse.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics.
- Experience managing warehouse teams and coordinating dispatch activities.
- Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems and inventory management practices.
