KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- Provide L2/L3 production support for IBM Sterling OMS, including incident triage, root cause analysis, defect resolution, and business continuity support.
- Manage and troubleshoot integration between Sterling OMS and enterprise systems (ERP, eCommerce, WMS, TMS) via REST/SOAP APIs, XML/XSLT, IBM MQ, and EDI.
- Monitor and support end-to-end order lifecycle flows across order capture, fulfilment, shipment, invoicing, returns, and cancellations.
- Support service request, incident, problem, and change management activities in line with SLA/KPI commitments.
- Maintain runbooks, SOPs, knowledge articles, support documentation, and known error records for recurring issues and operational readiness.
- Support deployment validations, hypercare, post-go-live stabilisation, and continuous improvement enhancements aligned to omnichannel operational goals.
- Understand client requirements, configure and implement IBM Sterling OMS covering order lifecycle.
- Manage SIT, UAT, and regression test cycles; triage and resolve pipeline, agent, and interface failures using Sterling diagnostic tools.




- Develop Java/J2EE customisations, custom APIs, agents, and pipelines to extend/enhance Sterling OMS functionality aligned to business requirements.
- Build Jasper/BIRT reports and Order Hub dashboards; support Call Center and Store fulfilment module configurations.
- 34 years of hands-on IBM Sterling OMS implementation experience, including at least one full lifecycle delivery.
- Mandatory: IBM Sterling OMS Technical and/or Functional Certification (IBM Certified preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Java/J2EE, Sterling OMS configuration, pipeline/agent design, and DOM rules.
- Working knowledge of XML/XSLT, SQL/DB2, IBM MQ, WebSphere Liberty, and REST/SOAP API integration.
- Familiarity with Order Hub, Call Center, Sterling Store, omnichannel capabilities (BOPIS, SFS, OIS), and EDI flows.
- Agile delivery experience; robust stakeholder communication, technical documentation, and QA skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related discipline.
