We are seeking a Workday Integration Consultant with deep expertise in HR technology and integration solutions. This role will focus on delivering integration health check assessments, supporting M&A; activities, and ensuring seamless data flow across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate brings both technical integration skills and strategic thinking to help clients optimize their Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Strategy & Delivery

- Lead and execute Workday integration projects across various integration types (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, Cloud Connect, Custom APIs)
- Design, build, test, and deploy integrations between Workday and third-party systems (payroll, perks, time tracking, talent management platforms)
- Perform comprehensive integration health check assessments to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities
- Develop integration roadmaps and recommendations aligned with client business objectives

Technical Excellence

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, including error handling and monitoring
- Maintain integration documentation including technical specifications, data dictionaries, and runbooks
- Establish integration best practices and governance frameworks
- Monitor integration performance and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency

Client Engagement

- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on integration strategy and HR technology optimization
- Present findings and recommendations to client stakeholders including technical and business audiences
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status effectively

Required Qualifications





Certifications & Experience

- 3-5+ years of hands-on Workday integration experience
- Proven track record delivering at least 3-5 full-cycle Workday integration projects
- Experience conducting integration assessments or health checks

Technical Skills

- Strong understanding of Workday architecture, security model, and data structures
- Proficiency with Workday integration tools: EIB, Studio, Cloud Connect, Core Connectors, Document Transformation, Report Writer
- Working knowledge of integration technologies: REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, JSON, web services
- Experience with integration middleware platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, Informatica, or similar) is a plus
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, and master data management principles

Domain Expertise

- Deep knowledge of HR business processes across HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Talent, and Time Tracking
- Experience with data migration and conversion projects
- Exposure to M&A; integration scenarios including carve-outs, consolidations, or acquisitions
- Understanding of downstream/upstream system integrations (ADP, Fidelity, SAP, Oracle, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

- Workday Integration Certification(s) - Core, Studio, or Cloud Connect
- Additional Workday certifications (HCM,



Security, Reporting)
- Experience with Workday Extend or Prism Analytics
- Knowledge of Workday Financial Management integrations
- Prior consulting experience with Big 4 or Tier 1 consulting firms
- Experience in multiple Workday deployment methodologies (Launch, Deploy, Extend)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum project management approaches
- Background in change management and training delivery
