IndustryManufacturing - Security Printing & Packaging

Job SummaryTo lead and manage all procurement activities for the company, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of raw materials, consumables, and services required for security printing and packaging operations. This role requires strong vendor management, cost optimization, and alignment with the company strategic and operational goals.

Educational QualificationB.E / B.Tech Printing Technology / Mechanical

with MBA in SCM [highly preferable].

Experience

- Minimum 10 years to 12 years of procurement experience.

Core working Experience required

- Proven experience in procurement for the Security Printing & Packaging industry [Label & Hologram].
- Solid negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Knowledge of security materials, inks, papers, foils, holograms, and packaging substrates is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement digital tools.
- Have experience in international buying and are aware of all import terms & processes.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement

- Develop and implement the company procurement strategy in line with production and business objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials (e.g., inks, substrates, packaging materials, adhesives, security features).
- Negotiate long-term contracts, price agreements,



and credit terms to ensure cost efficiency and financial control.

Operational Procurement

- Oversee the timely procurement of materials and consumables to ensure zero disruption in production schedules.
- Establish and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls that meet security printing standards.
- Implement inventory management systems to optimize stock levels and reduce wastage.

Vendor & Contract Management

- Manage relationships with key suppliers and service providers, ensuring reliability, quality, and compliance.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations covering quality, delivery, cost competitiveness, and compliance with security norms.
- Develop alternate sourcing strategies to mitigate supply chain risks.

Compliance & Security

- Ensure all procurement activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal audit standards, and security printing industry certifications.
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and production teams to ensure that procured materials meet strict specifications.
- Maintain confidentiality and strict control over sensitive procurement transactions.

Financial & Performance Management

- Prepare and manage the procurement budget, ensuring cost savings and value creation.
- Monitor purchasing KPIs (cost savings, supplier performance, lead time, inventory turnover, etc.).
- Report regularly to senior management on procurement performance, risks, and opportunities.

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to ensure high performance.
- Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, R&D;, Finance, and Logistics to align purchasing with business needs.

Job Location

- Corporate office at okhla Industrial Area Phase I, New Delhi
- Open to visit the plant at Gr. Noida as & when required.
