Role & responsibilities
Position Overview
The candidate will work at the NGO-Japan Desk of a government-related organization and support projects involving Japanese and Indian NGOs, JICA, government offices, and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Support JICA Partnership Programme (JPP) and other NGO-related projects.
- Coordinate with Japanese and Indian NGOs, JICA Headquarters, government offices, and other stakeholders.
- Research Indian NGO regulations, including FCRA and CSR regulations.
- Build and maintain professional networks with Indian NGOs.
- Support Japanese NGOs, universities, companies, and study tour groups visiting India.
- Support Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) activities and outreach programmes.
- Conduct project and site visits as required.
- Prepare monthly reports, business trip reports, project reports, and other required documentation.
- Support coordination and communication between Japanese and Indian stakeholders.
Mandatory Requirements
- JLPT N2 or above.
- Fluency in Japanese and English.
- 05 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with NGOs or government-related organizations.
- Hindi proficiency.
- Robust interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proactive and positive attitude toward learning.
- Willingness to take on new challenges and work with diverse stakeholders.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to undertake business trips within India as required.
