Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, primarily using GitHub, GitHub Runners, and Jenkins.
- Monitor CI/CD tool performance and usage to ensure reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate seamless migration between Git platforms in line with company strategy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed CI/CD principles into the software development lifecycle.
- Define and implement best practices for CI/CD processes, security, and automation.
- Provide support for Azure cloudification initiatives and ensure integration with CI/CD pipelines.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to upskill development teams on CI/CD tools and practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the CI/CD ecosystem.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure alignment and collaboration.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Robust experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions/Runners, GitLab, Jenkins,
and related tools.
- Familiarity with GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS) and SonarQube is a strong plus.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.
- Experience with build tools and package managers: Maven, Node.js, npm, Nexus, JFrog.
- Good understanding of deploying various platforms: web apps, microservices, serverless, etc.
- Familiarity with standard databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is a plus.
- Experience with Azure and related cloud services is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
