Roles and Responsibilities :
- Assist ophthalmologists during cataract surgeries, glaucoma procedures, and other eye operations.
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative care for patients undergoing vision correction procedures such as Lasik surgery.
- Perform refractions to determine the correct prescription for glasses or contact lenses.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating room environment.
Job Requirements :
- 4-6 years of experience in an OT setting with exposure to ophthalmology procedures.
- Strong knowledge of optics, optometry, and vision science principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital setting with attention to detail.
