The Trainer is responsible for facilitating comprehensive training programs for direct G4S employees (fresh joinees and lateral hires) and client staff (for commercial training sales). This role ensures seamless onboarding, strict regulatory compliance with PSARA (Private Security Agencies Regulation Act) guidelines, and standard operating procedures while evaluating participant performance and maintaining high training delivery standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. New Employee Onboarding & Compliance (20% Time Spent)
- Document Verification: Review recruitment documentation for current joinees, including government ID proofs, educational certificates, Gram Panchayat certificates, and personal affidavits.
- Medical Screening: Coordinate pre-employment medical checkups with designated medical professionals or institutes.
- Issue Escalation: Highlight document discrepancies or medical checkup failures to Service Delivery, Recruitment, and Information Security Management (ISM) teams.
- Records & System Entry: Submit reviewed document sets to the branch for record-keeping and forward details to the EDM Transaction Center for clock number generation and ERP entry.
- Orientation: Induct new employees into the training program following organizational guidelines.
2. Employee Training & Assessment (70% Time Spent)
- Training Execution: Plan, schedule, and conduct basic, lateral, and specialized training batches for security personnel as per PSARA and G4S curricula.
- Testing & Evaluation: Conduct mid-term and final assessments to measure candidate progress and skill retention.
- Certification: Identify passing candidates against defined benchmarks and issue official training certificates.
3. Commercial & Client Training (10% Time Spent)
- Needs Briefing: Collaborate with clients to understand specific training requirements and operational expectations.
- Content Customization: Tailor and refine training modules to meet customized client needs.
- In office Delivery: Conduct training sessions at client sites following agreed schedules and timelines.
- Feedback Collection: Gather formal feedback from participants and clients, sharing reports internally for continuous improvement.
PERFORMANCE METRICS (KPIs)
- Timely and accurate verification of new joinee documentation and medical checks.
- 100% adherence to PSARA regulatory mandates and internal onboarding compliance.
- Training planned vs. conducted ratio (adherence to timelines, batch size, and curriculum standards).
- Average participant and client feedback ratings for training quality and effectiveness.
KEY RELATIONSHIPS
- Internal: Fresh/Lateral Security Personnel, Recruitment Team, ISM Officers, EDM Transaction Center Staff, Hub Training Lead.
- External: Commercial Clients, Medical Institutes/Empaneled Doctors.

Qualifications & Experience

- Industry Experience: Extensive background in delivering security training to large groups.
- Preferred Profile: Ex-Police Services (Ex-Inspector grade and above) or retired Armed Forces personnel.
