Key Responsibilities : -

- Operate VMC machines to produce precision components as per engineering drawings.
- Program CNC/VMC machines using G-code, CAM software, or manual input.
- Set up tools, fixtures, and work pieces for machining operations.
- Conduct first-off inspection and ensure dimensional accuracy using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, CMM, etc.).
- Optimize machining parameters for efficiency and tool life.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.
- Maintain production records, job sheets, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and 5S workplace practices.
- Collaborate with design and quality teams to resolve machining issues.

Qualifications & Skills : -

- Diploma/ITI in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in VMC operation and programming.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (Fanuc, Siemens, etc.).
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, NX, SolidCAM preferred).
- Solid understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
