- Administer and monitor SQL Server databases for PLM and MES.
- Create, schedule and monitor full, differential and transaction-log backups.
- Perform database restore, recovery and point-in-time recovery when required.
- Monitor database health, performance, storage, blocking, deadlocks and growth.
- Perform database maintenance including indexes, statistics, integrity checks and log management.
- Troubleshoot PLM/MES database connectivity, performance and data-related technical issues.
- Support HA/DR, failover and periodic disaster-recovery / restore testing.
- Manage database users, roles and permissions as per approved requirements. - Support SQL patching, upgrades, migrations and application deployments.
- Maintain SOPs, backup/recovery procedures, database records and incident RCA.

Role Purpose: Provide in office technical administration and support for SQL Server databases supporting PLM and MES applications, ensuring availability, performance, data integrity, backup and recovery.

Desired Skills:





- Minimum 5 years of hands-on SQL Server DBA experience.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server administration, backup/recovery and performance tuning.
- Experience supporting business-critical enterprise databases.
- PLM, MES, manufacturing or automotive IT experience preferred.
- Good troubleshooting, communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a production/manufacturing environment.
