Role & responsibilities

1. Understanding of the Indian Tea Industry, the growing regions, and the kind of teas produced across the growing regions.
2. For tasting and selection for our different brand requirements, knowledge, mainly of South Indian origin with a fairly valuable exposure to North Indian teas.
3. Ability to make the correct selections with respect to quality, and price of teas offered.
4. Familiarity with all the grades.
5. To taste and evaluate /select suitable teas for our blends.
6. Selections and buying teas considering our blend requirements and cost in particular.
7. To be able to accept responsibility and accountability for tasting, allocation and buying.
8. To be able to formulate blends as required by company.
9. Whenever required measure up to new blends creation,



and selection of teas required for meeting this need.
10. New ideas for accomplishing better way of working and work simplification without compromising on the end result.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Graduate preferably with Science/Commerce background
2. Age Below 45 years
3. 8 12 Years of experience from a regional/ national packet tea companies preferred.
4. Anywhere in India
