Job Title: HVAC Design Manager

Location: Head Office (with site travel as required)

Department: Projects & Maintenance

Reporting To: Head Projects

Role Purpose:

To lead the HVAC design and execution process across all Barbeque Nation outlets, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable climate control systems in alignment with brand standards. The role includes coordination with internal teams, vendors, and consultants and involves periodic travel to project sites for inspections and supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end HVAC design process for new and renovated outlets.

- Develop HVAC layouts and BOQs based on project requirements.

- Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure design feasibility.

- Evaluate HVAC equipment and technology for energy efficiency and cost optimization.

- Perform site visits for feasibility assessments, design validation, and quality checks.





- Review installation drawings and provide execution support during fit-out phase.

- Troubleshoot HVAC issues at sites and recommend effective solutions.

- Ensure compliance with all safety, fire norms, and local building regulations.

- Train junior engineers or contractors on HVAC standards and installation protocols.

Requirements:

- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

- 812 years of experience in HVAC design, preferably in retail, restaurant, or hospitality sectors.

- Strong understanding of cooling load calculations, ducting, VRF/VRV systems, AHU, ventilation design, etc.

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit (optional), and design simulation software.

- Positive communication, stakeholder coordination, and site supervision skills.

- Willingness to travel to outlet sites across regions as per project needs.
