HR Manager / HR Lead
Company: Radheshyam Laminates & Decors Pvt. Ltd.
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 3 years +
Employment Type: Full-time
About Radheshyam
Radheshyam Laminates & Decors Pvt. Ltd. is a growing multi-brand trading company in the building materials and interior solutions industry, dealing with leading brands across laminates, plywood, cladding, hardware, fittings, and other décor products.
As we continue to scale, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager / HR Lead who can build and take complete ownership of our HR function.
The Role
This is a build-from-scratch HR role. The selected candidate will be responsible for establishing the HR function, putting structured processes and policies in place, and managing the complete employee lifecycle.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and building systems rather than simply executing existing HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Build the HR Function
* Establish the HR department and HR processes from the ground up.
* Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, guidelines and employee handbooks.
* Create structured systems for attendance, leave, payroll coordination, employee records and documentation.
* Establish clear roles, responsibilities and reporting structures across the organisation.
* Introduce HR systems/processes that can scale with the company’s growth.
2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
* Take complete ownership of recruitment across functions and levels.
* Understand manpower requirements and coordinate with department heads.
* Develop job descriptions and recruitment processes.
* Source, screen, interview and coordinate hiring of suitable candidates.
* Build a solid talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
* Develop effective onboarding and induction processes.
3. Employee Lifecycle Management
* Manage the complete employee lifecycle from joining to exit.
* Establish structured onboarding, probation, confirmation and exit processes.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
* Manage employee documentation and HR compliance requirements.
* Conduct exit interviews and identify recurring employee concerns.
4. Performance Management
* Design and implement a structured performance appraisal system.
* Develop KRAs/KPIs in coordination with department heads.
* Establish performance review cycles and feedback mechanisms.
* Build processes for employee development, promotions and increments.
5. Policies & Employee Engagement
* Develop policies covering attendance, leave, working hours, code of conduct, travel, expenses, disciplinary procedures, etc.
* Create a professional and positive work culture.
* Act as the primary point of contact for employee grievances and HR-related concerns.
* Develop employee engagement initiatives and internal communication processes.
6. Payroll & Compliance
* Coordinate and oversee monthly payroll processes.
* Ensure proper maintenance of attendance, leave and salary-related records.
* Work closely with finance and external consultants for statutory HR compliance.
* Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and regulations.
* Maintain proper HR documentation and records.
7. HR Strategy & Reporting
* Work closely with management to understand business and manpower requirements.
* Develop HR strategies aligned with the company’s growth plans.
* Create HR dashboards and regular reports covering hiring, attrition, attendance,
performance and other key metrics.
* Identify gaps in existing people processes and recommend improvements.
* Build a data-driven and structured approach to people management.
What We Are Looking For
* 3 years + of relevant HR experience, preferably with experience in a growing or mid-sized organisation.
* Strong understanding of HR operations, recruitment, performance management and HR policies.
* Proven ability to build HR systems and processes from scratch.
* Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory HR compliance.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
* Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
* Ability to work closely with senior management and department heads.
* Practical, hands-on approach rather than purely theoretical HR knowledge.
* Experience in the trading, distribution, manufacturing, building materials or similar industries would be an advantage.
What You Will Own
The person joining this role will have end-to-end ownership of HR at Radheshyam, including:
People → Policies → Processes → Recruitment → Performance → Culture → Compliance → Employee Lifecycle
This is an opportunity for an HR professional who wants to build the HR function from the ground up and create a long-term, scalable people framework for a growing business.
Why Join Us?
* Opportunity to build and lead the HR function from the ground up.
* Direct interaction with senior management.
* High level of ownership and decision-making responsibility.
* Opportunity to shape the company’s people practices and culture.
* Growing organisation with scope to build and scale the HR function.
