Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Phlebotomist to collect blood and other specimens from patients safely and efficiently while ensuring proper identification, labeling, handling, and transportation of samples.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using proper phlebotomy techniques.
- Ensure correct patient identification and proper sample labeling.
- Handle, store, and transport specimens according to laboratory protocols.
- Maintain proper hygiene, infection-control, and safety procedures.
- Provide a comfortable and professional experience for patients.
- Maintain accurate records of collected samples.
- Handle home sample collections when required.
- Travel to different branches for sample collection as needed.
- Coordinate with the laboratory team regarding sample collection and processing.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of phlebotomy equipment.
Requirements:
- DMLT / Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or relevant qualification.
- Prior experience in phlebotomy is preferred; freshers may also apply.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills
- Candidates based in Calicut are preferred.
