WE’RE HIRING — CINEMATOGRAPHER & VIDEO EDITOR | THE WHY CO.

The Why Co. is looking for a creative and versatile Cinematographer & Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis.

We’re looking for someone who can do more than just operate a camera or edit footage — someone who understands storytelling, visual aesthetics, social media, and brand communication.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

- Plan and execute video shoots for brands, campaigns, social media and marketing content
- Handle cinematography, framing, lighting, camera movement and composition
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, YouTube and other digital platforms
- Create engaging Reels, promotional videos, brand films, product videos and campaign content
- Work closely with our creative and marketing teams to translate ideas into compelling visuals
- Handle colour correction, basic colour grading, sound design, transitions and motion graphics
- Adapt content according to different brand identities and visual styles
- Occasionally assist with pre-production, shot planning and storyboarding
- Stay updated with current video trends,



editing styles and social-media formats

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

- Strong understanding of videography + video editing
- Good eye for composition, lighting, framing and visual storytelling
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or similar editing software
- Knowledge of DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop or Lightroom is a plus
- Ability to shoot and edit content independently
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, short-form content and digital marketing
- Creative mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work within deadlines and adapt to different projects
- A robust portfolio/showreel is required

You don't necessarily need years of experience. Strong visual sense, creativity and a good portfolio matter more to us.

Pay: ₹4,000.00 - ₹8,000.00 per month
