Reports To: Production Manager / CAD Manager

Job Purpose

To develop accurate garment patterns using CAD software, ensure proper fit and measurements, and provide production-ready patterns according to design and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and develop garment patterns using CAD software.
- Prepare patterns according to design, measurement charts, and technical specifications.
- Modify and correct patterns based on fit, sample, and buyer comments.
- Perform pattern grading for different garment sizes.
- Prepare production-ready patterns with accurate measurements and specifications.
- Coordinate with the sampling, merchandising, production, and quality teams.
- Analyze fitting issues and make necessary pattern corrections.
- Prepare and maintain pattern files, size sets, and technical records.
- Ensure patterns are suitable for bulk production and minimize fabric wastage.
- Support marker planning and coordinate with the CAD/marker-making team.
- Maintain proper version control and documentation of revised patterns.
- Follow buyer requirements, approved samples, and company quality standards.

Required Skills





- Good knowledge of garment pattern making and construction.
- Proficiency in garment CAD software such as Gerber, Lectra, Optitex, Tukatech, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of pattern grading and marker making.
- Strong understanding of garment measurements and fitting.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and measurement charts.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work within production deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related field.
- Experience: 3–7 years of relevant experience in garment pattern making and CAD.
- Experience in a garment manufacturing environment is preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
