Summary

A Paediatric Nurse provides compassionate, safe, and high-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents. The role involves assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, monitoring health conditions, supporting families, and working closely with paediatricians and the wider healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess and monitor the health and developmental needs of paediatric patients.
- Provide nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents with acute and chronic conditions.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, IV fluids, and other prescribed treatments safely.
- Monitor vital signs and recognise changes in a child's condition, escalating concerns promptly.
- Assist doctors and healthcare professionals with examinations,



procedures, and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and nursing documentation.
- Provide appropriate pain management and comfort measures.
- Educate parents and caregivers about the child's condition, medication, treatment, nutrition, and home care.
- Provide emotional support to children and their families during illness and hospitalisation.
- Follow infection prevention and control procedures and maintain a safe clinical workplace.
- Respond appropriately to paediatric emergencies and participate in resuscitation

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
