Job Title: Safety Supervisor – PowerGrid Project

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Safety Supervisor for our PowerGrid project. The candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring safety procedures at the construction site and ensuring compliance with project safety requirements, applicable statutory regulations, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor day-to-day safety activities at the construction site.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers, supervisors, and visitors.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
- Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and take corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and maintain safety records.
- Ensure compliance with work permits, height work, lifting activities, excavation, electrical work and other high-risk activities.
- Monitor scaffolding, ladders, lifting equipment, temporary electrical installations and other site safety arrangements.
- Report accidents, incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions to the project management.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection checklists and reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers,



contractors and workers to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with PowerGrid/project-specific safety requirements.

Mandatory / Minimum Qualification

- Diploma in Construction Site Safety Management – Mandatory
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction/infrastructure project safety.
- Candidates with experience in Power Transmission, Substation, EPC, Civil Construction or Government Infrastructure Projects will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of construction site safety practices and statutory safety requirements.
- Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of HSE/Safety procedures and documentation.
- Experience in conducting Toolbox Talks and Safety Training.
- Knowledge of PPE, work-at-height safety, lifting safety, excavation safety and electrical safety.
- Ability to independently monitor site safety and coordinate with site teams.

Significant: Candidates without a Diploma in Construction Site Safety Management will not be considered.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
