Key Responsibilities

- Drive quality performance across assigned Electrical Product manufacturing lines.
- Monitor daily quality KPIs including FPY, rejection, rework, customer complaints, PPM and quality escapes.
- Ensure effective implementation of Control Plans, SOPs, PFMEA, Work Instructions and Quality Standards on the shop floor.
- Conduct daily quality review meetings with Shift In-Charges, Production and Process Engineering teams.
- Plan and monitor Process Audits, Layered Process Audits and product/process compliance.
- Lead 8D, QRQC, CAPA and structured Root Cause Analysis for internal and customer quality issues.
- Drive rejection reduction, FPY improvement, process capability and defect prevention initiatives.
- Ensure effective control of electrical/electronic components, assemblies and finished products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Monitor and improve process parameters,



inspection methods and product quality standards for electrical products.
- Handle customer quality concerns, complaints and escalations, ensuring timely containment and permanent corrective actions.
- Drive process improvement and quality improvement projects using tools such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, SPC, Poka-Yoke and Kaizen.
- Coach and develop Shift In-Charges, Quality Engineers and shop-floor quality teams.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Process Engineering, Maintenance, R&D;, Supplier Quality and Customer Quality teams.
- Escalate critical quality risks to the Plant Quality Head and ensure timely closure.
- Standardize quality best practices across all shifts, lines and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure achievement of line-wise quality targets and continuous improvement objectives.
