About the Role

Nest Premium Boys and Girls Hostel in Thengana, Changanassery is looking for an experienced, energetic Residential Cook. We provide accommodation and dining to our residents, so the ideal candidate must deliver high-quality, authentic South Indian meals with top priority on hygiene, taste, and consistency.Key Responsibilities

* Prepare fresh, hygienic daily breakfast, lunch,snacks and dinner for hostel residents.

* Expertly make breads and specialty items: Kerala Porotta, soft Chapathi, Poori, and Bhatura.

* Cook traditional South Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, curries, and side dishes.

* Maintain strict cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene across the kitchen and store area.

* Help with local market purchases or kitchen errands when required.Shift Timings & Leave * Morning Shift: 4:00 AM – 8:00 AM

* Afternoon Break:



8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Off-duty / Rest hours)

* Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

* Total Working Hours: 9 hours daily

* Leave: 1 day off per monthRequirements & Eligibility

* Age Limit: Below 40 No drinking and smoking

* Specialty Mandatory Skills: Must know how to make Porotta, Chapathi, Poori, and Bhatura from scratch.

* Driving Knowledge: Must know how to drive 2-wheelers, 3-wheelers (auto), and 4-wheelers (valid driving licence preferred) + Health card

* Stay Requirement: Must stay on-site (Residential post).Salary & Benefits * Fixed Salary: ₹30,000 per month

* Accommodation: Free.

* Food: 100% free daily meals provided.
