Job Summary

Ashok Metal Crafts is looking for a responsible and experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver to operate our 6-wheel commercial vehicles for the transportation and delivery of goods within Kerala.

The ideal candidate should have a valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) driving licence and driver badge, along with relevant experience in driving 6-wheel vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive and operate 6-wheel heavy vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Transport and deliver company products to customers and destinations across Kerala.
- Ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
- Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules.
- Conduct basic vehicle checks before and after trips.
- Maintain the vehicle in good condition and report any issues immediately.
- Ensure proper handling and safety of goods during transportation.
- Follow all traffic rules, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods when required.
- Maintain necessary vehicle and delivery documents.

Requirements

- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV)



Licence – Mandatory
- Valid Driver Badge – Mandatory
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Experience driving 6-wheel commercial/heavy vehicles.
- Positive knowledge of Kerala roads and routes.
- Willingness to travel across Kerala for deliveries.
- Responsible, punctual, and safety-conscious.
- Experience in goods transportation will be an advantage.
