About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems, with strong specialized knowledge of VRV/VRF systems and 3-face (cassette-type) AC units, along with general split, window, and ducted AC systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and maintain VRV/VRF (Variable Refrigerant Volume/Flow) systems for commercial and residential projects
- Install and service 3-face cassette AC units, split ACs, window ACs, and ducted systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant-related faults in HVAC equipment
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) including filter cleaning, coil cleaning, gas charging, and system inspections
- Read and interpret piping diagrams, wiring diagrams, and refrigerant flow charts
- Carry out refrigerant leak detection, vacuuming, and gas charging as per manufacturer specifications
- Handle installation and servicing of ductable units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and package units (as applicable)
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols during all work
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and maintenance logs
- Coordinate with supervisors/clients on job status, spare parts requirement, and scheduling
- Provide guidance/support to junior technicians and helpers on-site
- Respond promptly to breakdown calls and emergency service requests

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong technical knowledge of VRV/VRF systems (installation,



commissioning, fault diagnosis)
- Hands-on experience with 3-face (cassette) AC units and other indoor unit types (ductable, hi-wall, floor-standing)
- Positive understanding of refrigeration cycle, refrigerant types (R22, R410A, R32, etc.), and gas charging procedures
- Skilled in brazing, piping, insulation, and electrical wiring for AC systems
- Familiarity with basic electrical concepts (single-phase/three-phase, control wiring, PCB troubleshooting)
- Ability to use HVAC tools and instruments (gauges, vacuum pumps, multimeters, leak detectors)
- Knowledge of major brands' VRV/VRF systems (Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, etc. — as applicable) is a plus
- Basic computer literacy for maintaining digital service reports (preferred)

Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) — preferred
- Manufacturer-specific VRV/VRF training/certification is an added advantage
- Minimum 3 years of relevant hands-on HVAC field experience

Other Requirements

- Willingness to travel to client sites for installation/service calls
- Ability to work at heights and in varied site conditions
- Physically fit to carry out fieldwork, including working with ladders/scaffolding
- Valid driving license (if applicable/preferred)
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members
