Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our manufacturing and operations team. This role covers day-to-day shop floor execution, production scheduling, quality inspections, and vendor coordination for sheet metal fabrication, machining, and assembly projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Production & Operations:
- Supervise daily shop floor activities to hit production targets safely and on schedule.
- Interpret engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and manufacturing instructions.
- Monitor metal fabrication processes, including CNC machining, laser cutting, welding, and surface finishing.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Perform stage-wise and final dimensional inspections using calibrated measuring instruments (vernier callipers, micrometres, height gauges).
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Quality Control Checklists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Assist in maintaining quality frameworks (ISO / ZED compliance)



and managing raw material test certificates (MTC).
- Process Improvement & Maintenance:
- Coordinate with supervisor teams to minimise machine downtime and streamline material flow.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions for production line defects.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 0–3 years in an industrial or engineering manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T; symbols.
- Basic working knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD / SolidWorks).
- Understanding of fabrication processes, welding standards, and material properties (Steel, Aluminum, Alloys).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, team coordination, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Preferred Experience (Bonus for candidates with 1–3 years' experience)

- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and audit documentation.
- Hands-on experience with sheet metal fabrication, surface treatments, or CNC setups.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
