Job Location: Bandra West, Mumbai

About Aseema: Aseema Charitable Trust is a Mumbai based non-governmental organization with a mission to equip children from marginalized communities with high quality, value based education enabling development of their limitless potential. It works in partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and is currently running three MCGM schools – The Pali Chimbai Municipal School and Pereira Wadi Municipal in Bandra (West) and The Kherwadi Municipal School in Bandra (East).

In Igatpuri, Aseema works with tribal children who live in the remote tribal village to provide them with quality education. Today we reach out to more than over 3000 students and besides the finest quality of education, we provide them with nutritious meals and also attend to their physical and mental well-being. Co-curricular activities like sports, art, music, dance, judo and yoga are carried out in all our schools so that the children receive a well-rounded and holistic education. We also cater to over 900 alumni who are studying at Universities and also assist them with securing employment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

- Planning the strategies, activities and programmes to strengthen the medical programme.
- Getting the records updated from the concerned social workers.
- Maintaining the records of the students and parents under the medical programme.




- Reporting the progress of the programme and individual cases weekly basis or on a case-to-case basis depending upon the emergency.
- Helping in better networking with Hospitals and medical institutions and programme planning.
- Conducting Health Camps in the community.
- Visiting Hospitals and coordinating with the parents
- Sharing the monthly, quarterly and yearly report on the progress of the medical programme with the Medical Aid Committee.
- To help the malnourished students with required medical attention in coordination with the Nutrition Consultants.
- To do home visits of the medical cases.
- To complete administrative work and manage accounts on time related to medical expenses.
- To maintain relevant documentations of each case.
- To work closely with the social workers on the malnourished, anaemic students.

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

- Candidates with Bachelor in Social Worker / Master in Social Worker preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of Social work experience, freshers can also apply.
- Good computer skills and documentation skills
- Candidates residing in Mumbai to apply.
