Department: Service Engineer

Responsibilities

- Carry out inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of construction equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
- Attend breakdown calls and provide timely technical support at customer locations.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure equipment is maintained as per recommended service schedules.
- Handle installation, commissioning, and testing of equipment whenever required.
- Identify the root cause of equipment failures and recommend appropriate corrective action.
- Prepare service reports, inspection reports, and other required documentation after each service visit.
- Coordinate with customers regarding equipment performance, service requirements, and technical issues.
- Explain proper equipment operation, maintenance practices, and basic troubleshooting to customers/operators.
- Coordinate with the internal service, spare parts, and sales teams to ensure timely resolution of customer issues.
- Maintain proper records of service activities, breakdowns, parts replaced, and machine condition.




- Ensure all service activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company guidelines.
- Travel to customer sites and locations as required for service and technical support.

Requirements

- Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or ITI
- 3–5 years of experience in servicing or maintaining construction equipment, heavy machinery, earthmoving equipment, or similar equipment.
- Positive understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, transmission, and mechanical components.
- Ability to diagnose equipment problems and carry out effective troubleshooting.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer/project sites.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a service team.
- A valid driving licence will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
