To provide basic nursing and patient-care support in the OPD under the supervision and guidance of senior nursing staff, while developing competency in clinical procedures, patient handling, documentation and fertility-centre workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and assist patients in the OPD in a qualified and courteous manner.
- Prepare patients for doctor consultation and procedures.
- Record vital signs and basic patient information accurately.
- Assist senior nurses and doctors during consultations and procedures.
- Assist with basic nursing procedures as trained and under supervision.
- Support IV cannulation, blood collection, injections and medication administration as permitted and supervised.
- Prepare and arrange required instruments, medicines and consumables for procedures.
- Provide basic pre- and post-procedure instructions under the guidance of senior staff.
- Observe patients and immediately report any abnormal signs or concerns to the senior nurse/doctor.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, registers and documentation.
- Follow hand hygiene, infection-control, biomedical-waste and patient-safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the OPD/procedure area.
- Check availability of routine medicines and consumables and report shortages to the senior nurse.
- Assist in coordinating patient movement between reception, OPD, laboratory, pharmacy and other departments.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Learn and follow Aspire Fertility Center's clinical SOPs and workflows.
- Assist the clinical team in fertility-related procedures as trained and assigned.
- Attend required training and competency assessments.
- Seek guidance whenever unsure and do not perform procedures independently until competency is established.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualification
GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognised institution with valid registration as applicable.
