Security Management Head

Position: Security Management Head
Preferred Background: Retired / Ex-Army Officers, particularly Colonel & above, and Ex-Indian Air Force Officers of equivalent seniority

Role Purpose

To lead and manage corporate security operations across all locations, ensuring the safety and security of employees, visitors, assets, facilities, and critical infrastructure while proactively identifying and minimizing security and operational risks.

The ideal candidate will be a senior ex-Defence professional with strong leadership, security management, crisis-handling, and administrative experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and continuously improve corporate security policies, procedures, and SOPs across all locations.
- Lead and oversee security operations across manufacturing units, corporate offices, warehouses, and other facilities.
- Manage and monitor contract security agencies, security guards, supervisors, and other security personnel.
- Establish and strengthen access control, visitor management, gate control, vehicle movement, and employee identification systems.
- Ensure effective 24/7 CCTV surveillance, security monitoring, and incident reporting mechanisms.
- Conduct periodic security risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits across all locations.
- Identify potential security threats and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
- Lead investigations relating to theft, unauthorized access, misconduct, security breaches, loss of assets, and other incidents.
- Develop and implement emergency response, crisis management, evacuation, and disaster management plans.
- Coordinate with Police, Fire & Rescue Services, local administration, government authorities, and other statutory agencies whenever required.
- Plan and conduct regular security drills, mock exercises, emergency response drills, and awareness programs.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security, safety, statutory,



and regulatory requirements.
- Develop contingency plans for fire, natural disasters, civil disturbances, unauthorized entry, theft, and other emergency situations.
- Review security manpower requirements, deployment patterns, shift schedules, and performance of security personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections of security arrangements and provide security improvement recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain strong coordination with plant heads, HR, administration, operations, facility management, and senior leadership.
- Prepare and submit security reports, incident reports, risk assessments, and management dashboards.
- Establish a strong culture of discipline, vigilance, confidentiality, and security awareness across the organization.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Retired / Ex-Army Officer – Colonel and above preferred.
- Retired / Ex-Indian Air Force Officer – equivalent senior rank preferred.
- Candidates from other senior Defence backgrounds with significant experience in security, administration, operations, intelligence, or facility protection may also be considered.
- Solid experience in managing large teams and multi-location security operations.
- Excellent leadership, decision-making, crisis-management, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of security protocols, risk management, surveillance, access control, and emergency response.
- Experience coordinating with police, fire services, government authorities, and local administration will be an advantage.
- Strong discipline, integrity, confidentiality, and professional conduct are essential.

Pay: ₹60,466.79 - ₹125,544.40 per month
