Role Overview

We are looking for a Backend Developer / Data Engineer with strong .NET and Python experience to build scalable backend services, APIs, data-processing components and integrations with the client’s platform. The role will work across application, data, integration and AI use cases.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop scalable backend services and secure REST APIs using .NET / C# and Python.

· Build data-processing, transformation and validation components for structured and semi-structured data.

· Integrate internal and external systems using REST APIs, JSON/XML, files and messaging patterns.

· Design and implement reliable data ingestion and ETL/ELT workflows where required.

· Work with relational databases, write optimized SQL and support data modelling and performance tuning.

· Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, logging and audit requirements.

· Develop asynchronous/background processing for long-running or integration-heavy workloads.

· Write clean, reusable and testable code with appropriate unit and integration tests.

· Troubleshoot API, integration, data-quality and performance issues across environments.

· Collaborate with solution architects, data architects, AI/data teams, frontend, integration, QA and DevOps teams.

· Support CI/CD, cloud deployment, production readiness and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Experience





· 4-8 years of hands-on software development experience.

· Strong experience in C#, .NET / ASP.NET Core and backend API development.

· Strong Python development experience; exposure to FastAPI, Flask or equivalent backend frameworks.

· Strong REST API and enterprise integration experience.

· Hands-on SQL and relational database experience, preferably SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.

· Experience with data processing, ETL/ELT, data transformation and multi-source integrations.

· Understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency and background processing.

· Experience with JSON, XML and file-based data exchange.

· Experience with Git, automated testing and CI/CD practices.

· Working knowledge of Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

· Solid troubleshooting, code-review and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Good to Have

· Experience with message queues or event-driven architectures.

· Experience with cloud data services, object storage and serverless components.

· Exposure to document processing, OCR or AI/LLM integrations.

· Experience with supply-chain, logistics or enterprise workflow applications.

· Knowledge of OpenAPI / Swagger and API security practices.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
