ABOUT THE ROLE
Beauty Garage Limited is looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead and manage day-to-day
manufacturing operations for our range of professional and salon-grade haircare products. The role is central
to ensuring production runs on schedule, output meets quality and compliance standards, and manufacturing
data is tracked and reported with a high degree of accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity for a
detail-oriented production skilled with strong analytical and Excel-based reporting skills to grow within a
fast-scaling personal care manufacturing setup.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n Plan, schedule, and supervise daily production activities across manufacturing lines to meet output and
delivery targets.
n Coordinate with R&D;, QA/QC, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth batch-to-batch production flow
and timely raw material availability.
n Monitor and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), hygiene, and safety standards on the shop
floor.
n Maintain batch manufacturing records (BMRs), production logs, and machine/equipment usage logs
accurately and on time.
n Track production KPIs — yield, wastage, downtime, and efficiency — and prepare regular MIS reports for
management using Excel.
n Build and maintain Excel-based production trackers,
dashboards, and pivot-table reports for daily, weekly,
and monthly review.
n Coordinate manpower planning, shift scheduling, and training of production staff and machine operators.
n Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to cosmetics manufacturing
(Factory License, Labour Law, etc.).
n Liaise with QA/QC on in-process checks, batch release, and closing out non-conformances or deviations.
n Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production cost, cycle time, and material utilization.
n Maintain accurate inventory and consumption records of raw materials and packaging materials in
coordination with stores.
n Prepare production planning sheets and monthly/quarterly production reports for leadership review.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
n Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a production/manufacturing role, preferably in
cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
n Education: Bachelor's degree in Cosmetic Technology, Chemical Engineering, Production/Industrial
Engineering, Pharmacy, or a related field.
n Excel Skills (Mandatory): Solid working knowledge of MS Excel is essential — including pivot tables,
VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, conditional formatting,
and building production/MIS dashboards and
trackers.
n Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, batch documentation, and shop-floor operations in a
regulated/GMP environment.
n Working knowledge of production planning, inventory/material reconciliation, and basic quality/compliance
documentation.
n Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple production lines/batches simultaneously.
n Good communication and coordination skills to work closely with R&D;, QA/QC, stores, and factory
workforce.
n Willingness to work on-site at the manufacturing facility and adapt to production shift requirements as
needed.
n Prior exposure to haircare, skincare, or cosmetic product manufacturing will be a strong advantage.
