A Service Parts Officer manages the inventory, distribution, and procurement of auto parts within a dealership’s service department to ensure technicians have the components needed for timely repairs.

Inventory & Stock Management

- Stock Monitoring: Track inventory levels, fast-moving items, and critical spare parts to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Order Processing: Place regular replenishment and emergency stock orders with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) or authorized suppliers.
- Receiving & Inspection: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, or quantity discrepancies before logging them into the Dealer Management System (DMS).
- Storage & Organization: Organize parts in designated bins and shelves following systematic binning practices for easy retrieval.

Service Support & Counter Operations

- Technician Assistance: Fulfill parts requisitions for service technicians to minimize vehicle downtime in the workshop.
- Retail & Counter Sales: Assist walk-in customers or independent workshops with over-the-counter parts inquiries, quotes, and sales.
- Estimates & Billing:



Provide accurate parts estimates for job cards and ensure correct billing on final customer invoices.

System & Process Handling

- DMS Entry: Maintain real-time stock updates, transfer entries, purchase orders, and issuance records in the dealership system.
- Returns & Claims: Process warranty parts returns, core returns, and manufacturer damage/shortage claims per OEM guidelines.
- Perpetual Audits: Conduct regular physical stock audits and inventory reconciliation to control shrinkage and variance.

Vendor & Administrative Coordination

- OEM Coordination: Communicate with OEM logistics and regional parts hubs regarding backorders, delayed shipments, and campaigns.
- Cost & Obsolete Stock Control: Identify slow-moving or obsolete parts and coordinate with service management for liquidation or return strategies.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
