3D Designer Intern – Events & Exhibitions

About the Role

Planning Labs is looking for a creative and technically skilled 3D Designer Intern who is interested in designing exhibition stalls, event spaces, brand activations, stages and experiential environments.

You will work closely with our creative, client servicing and production teams to convert client briefs into visually solid and practically executable 3D concepts.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D exhibition stall and booth designs
- Design event stages, entrances, photo opportunities, installations and experiential setups
- Develop concepts based on client briefs and brand guidelines
- Create realistic 3D views and presentation renders
- Work on different stall sizes, layouts and exhibition requirements
- Understand branding placement, product displays, LED screens, meeting areas, reception counters, storage, etc.
- Make design revisions based on client feedback
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure designs are practically executable
- Assist with basic measurements, layouts and material understanding
- Work within project timelines and multiple design requirements

Software Skills





Candidates should have knowledge of one or more of the following:

- 3ds Max
- SketchUp
- AutoCAD
- V-Ray / Corona
- Lumion
- Photoshop / Illustrator would be an added advantage

Who Can Apply?

- Students/Freshers from Interior Design, Architecture, Exhibition Design, 3D Visualisation or related fields
- Strong sense of space, proportion and aesthetics
- Good understanding of 3D modelling and rendering
- Creative thinking with attention to detail
- Ability to understand briefs and work within deadlines
- Interest in events, exhibitions and experiential design

What You'll Learn

You will get hands-on exposure to:

Client Brief → Concept Development → 3D Design → Client Presentation → Revisions → Production → On-Ground Execution

You'll have the opportunity to see your designs move from a computer screen to actual exhibition stalls and event environments.

Portfolio / work samples are mandatory while applying.

Strong-performing interns may be considered for a full-time 3D Designer position at Planning Labs based on performance and available opportunities.

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
