Key Responsibilities

- Supervise daily work activities at the plant/site.
- Allocate work to welders, fitters, fabricators, helpers, riggers and other workers.
- Ensure work is completed according to drawings and instructions from the Site Engineer.
- Supervise steel cutting, fitting, welding, drilling, grinding and assembly.
- Monitor structural steel erection and installation activities.
- Check dimensions, levels, alignment and positioning of fabricated structures.
- Ensure availability of required materials, tools, tackles and equipment.
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers and fabrication teams during erection activities.
- Monitor worker productivity and maintain proper manpower utilization.
- Maintain daily attendance and manpower deployment records.
- Report daily progress, material requirements and site problems to the Site Engineer.
- Ensure workers use appropriate PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, gloves, goggles and safety harnesses.
- Follow hot-work,



work-at-height, lifting and other applicable safety procedures.
- Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents and equipment problems.
- Maintain proper housekeeping at the work location.
- Check the quality of fabrication and erection work before inspection.
- Coordinate with contractors and workers to achieve daily and weekly targets.
- Minimize material wastage and ensure proper handling of steel materials.
- Assist the Site Engineer during inspection, measurement and project handover.
- Ensure tools, welding machines, gas cutting equipment and other equipment are properly maintained and used safely.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
