Key Responsibilities

- Interpret and report diagnostic imaging examinations, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Mammography, and other imaging studies as per qualifications and expertise.
- Provide accurate, clear, and timely radiology reports.
- Correlate imaging findings with patient history, clinical examination, and laboratory results when required.
- Communicate urgent or critical findings promptly to the referring physicians.
- Perform image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, drainages, and other interventions where appropriately trained.
- Advise doctors on the most suitable imaging tests and any further scans needed for patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety protocols.
- Stay updated with advancements in radiology, imaging technology, and clinical guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.





Qualifications

- MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
- MD/DNB/DMRD in Radiology or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
- Valid registration with the relevant Medical Council/Regulatory Authority.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Proficiency in interpreting a wide range of imaging modalities.
