Boiler Machine Operator (Job Description):

A boiler machine operator in a fishery or fish processing plant operates and maintains industrial steam boilers to supply continuous heat and steam for processing fish meal, fish oil, or canning operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Steam Generation: Start up, monitor, and shut down industrial boilers to maintain required steam pressure and temperature for fish cooking, drying, and sterilization.

2. System Monitoring: Check water levels, fuel consumption, steam output, and gauges regularly to prevent pressure fluctuations.

3.Water Treatment: Test boiler water quality (pH, TDS, hardness) and add softening chemicals to prevent corrosion and scaling.

4.Maintenance & Repairs: Inspect valves, pipes, pumps, and tubes routinely, and repair or replace faulty parts.





5.Safety & Compliance: Follow strict factory safety rules and check safety devices like low-water cut-offs.

6.Record Keeping: Log daily fuel usage, operating pressure, water test results, and any maintenance issues.

Pay: ₹18,000.63 - ₹34,173.25 per month
