Role Purpose

The Beauty Academy Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality beauty and makeup training to students and ensuring they develop the practical skills, product knowledge, and professional standards required to build a career in the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom and practical training sessions for beauty and makeup students.
- Train students on basic to advanced makeup techniques.
- Provide training on skincare, haircare, beauty products, and personal grooming.
- Demonstrate professional makeup looks, product application, and beauty techniques.
- Provide hands-on guidance and practical demonstrations to students.
- Explain product features, usage, benefits, and suitable product selection.
- Evaluate students' practical performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare lesson plans, training schedules, demonstrations, and assessments.
- Maintain attendance, student performance records, and training reports.
- Ensure students follow proper hygiene, sanitation, and professional beauty standards.
- Keep updated with the latest beauty, makeup, skincare, and industry trends.
- Support students in improving their communication, grooming, customer-handling, and professional skills.
- Coordinate with the Academy team regarding batches, assessments, events, and student requirements.




- Maintain a professional and positive learning environment.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of beauty, makeup, skincare, and grooming.
- Excellent practical makeup and beauty skills.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain beauty techniques clearly and patiently.
- Strong demonstration and classroom-management skills.
- Passion for teaching and developing students.
- Good knowledge of current beauty and makeup trends.
- Professional appearance and grooming.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification/Certification in Beauty Therapy, Makeup, Cosmetology, or a related field preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in the beauty industry.
- Previous experience as a Beauty Trainer / Makeup Trainer / Beautician Trainer will be an advantage.
- Candidates with strong practical beauty experience and good teaching ability can also be considered.
