Markitzen is a digital marketing agency helping businesses grow through SEO, digital marketing, website optimization, and performance-driven online strategies.

We are looking for an SEO Intern who already has basic hands-on experience in SEO and is ready to work on real client projects.

Role Overview

As an SEO Intern, you will work closely with our SEO team on day-to-day execution across multiple client websites. This role is suitable for someone who has at least 3 months of practical SEO experience and wants to build strong agency-level SEO skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform keyword research and identify relevant search opportunities.
- Assist with on-page SEO activities including:
- Title tags
- Meta descriptions
- Heading optimization
- Internal linking
- Content optimization
- URL optimization
- Perform basic technical SEO checks.
- Assist with off-page SEO and link-building activities.
- Conduct competitor and SERP research.
- Monitor keyword rankings and website performance.
- Work with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, and SEO tools.
- Assist in preparing SEO reports and maintaining tracking sheets.
- Identify basic SEO issues and communicate them to the team.
- Support the team in implementing SEO strategies across different client websites.
- Stay updated with significant Google search and SEO developments.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 months of previous hands-on SEO experience is required.
- Basic understanding of SEO concepts and search engine algorithms.
- Positive understanding of on-page SEO.
- Basic knowledge of off-page SEO and link building.




- Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
- Basic keyword research and competitor analysis skills.
- Good written communication skills.
- Ability to work with Google Sheets/Excel.
- Willingness to learn and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
- Ability to follow SEO processes and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience working on WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools.
- Basic understanding of local SEO.
- Basic understanding of technical SEO.
- Previous experience working with agency/client websites is a plus.

Who We Are Looking For

We are not looking for someone with only theoretical SEO knowledge.

The ideal candidate should have already worked on SEO tasks for at least 3 months and should be comfortable with basic SEO execution.

Stipend & Opportunity

₹5,000/month – Fixed Stipend

You will get hands-on exposure to real client projects, agency SEO processes, keyword research, on-page SEO, technical SEO, reporting, and SEO strategy execution.

Candidates who demonstrate strong performance and consistency during the internship may be considered for future opportunities with Markitzen.

Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month
