MIYO Dessert Bar is looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant / Pastry Trainee to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle the setup and refilling of the dessert counter.
- Manage inventory and product rotation using FEFO.
- Receive daily dispatches and ensure proper storage of all products.
- Handle and monitor gelato machines, including texture and quality checks.
- Ensure all products are maintained at the right temperature, texture and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dessert counter and work areas.
- Monitor stock levels and minimise wastage.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and MIYO quality standards.

Who We're Looking For

- Prior kitchen, bakery or pastry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Passionate about food and willing to learn.
- Detail-oriented, organised and hands-on.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong focus on cleanliness and product quality.
