Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Governance Consultant to architect, implement, and scale a comprehensive data governance framework. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Microsoft Purview, metadata management, data lineage, data quality engineering, and regulatory compliance. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview is MANDATORY and NON-NEGOTIABLE for this role. Candidates without practical experience in Microsoft Purview will not be considered. This role requires a blend of technical acumen and soft skills to drive change management and foster cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities Design and implement an enterprise data governance framework from the ground up.

Implement and manage Microsoft Purview for enterprise data governance, data cataloging, metadata management, and data discovery.

Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview Data Catalog, business glossary, classifications, data assets, and lineage.

Map data flows from source to consumption,



maintaining data catalogs and tracking metadata.

Establish and maintain end-to-end data lineage using Microsoft Purview.

Define data quality dimensions and establish enterprise-wide quality benchmarks.

Develop and maintain business glossaries to ensure uniform data definitions across business units.

Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and implement data access/security controls.

Facilitate change management initiatives to promote new data habits and cultural standards.

Act as a liaison between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to bridge communication gaps.
