Job Summary:

Dev Vidyalaya is looking for a knowledgeable and passionate TGT Social Science Teacher to teach subjects like History, Geography, Civics, and Economics to middle school students. The candidate should be able to create an engaging learning environment and develop students’ understanding of social concepts and current affairs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Social Science subjects (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) to classes VI–X.
- Plan and deliver interactive and effective lesson plans.
- Develop students’ critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Use cutting-edge teaching methods, including maps, charts, and digital tools.
- Conduct assessments, tests, and evaluations regularly.
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic progress reports.
- Encourage participation in discussions, debates, and projects.
- Prepare students for school exams and external assessments.




- Stay updated with current affairs and incorporate them into teaching.
- Participate in school activities, meetings, and events.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Science (History/Geography/Political Science/Economics).
- B.Ed is mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge and teaching skills.
- Valuable communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to make learning engaging and student-friendly.

Experience:

- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience (preferred).
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge may also apply.
