Job Summary

Keventers Venture Ltd. is looking for a responsible, energetic, and experienced Shift Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our Tollygunge outlet in Kolkata.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for shift operations, team management, customer service, sales, inventory, cash handling, hygiene, and overall operational efficiency. The candidate must be capable of leading a team, handling peak-hour pressure, and ensuring company SOPs and service standards are consistently followed.

Key ResponsibilitiesShift & Outlet Management

- Manage complete outlet operations during the assigned shift.
- Ensure smooth opening, operational, and closing procedures.
- Plan and allocate duties to team members according to operational requirements.
- Monitor the overall performance of the outlet throughout the shift.
- Ensure company SOPs, policies, and operational standards are followed.
- Take quick and effective decisions to resolve operational issues.

Team Management

- Supervise, guide, and motivate Crew Members and Senior Crew Members.
- Allocate responsibilities and ensure proper manpower utilization.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Train and coach team members on operational procedures and customer service standards.
- Address routine staff-related issues and escalate serious matters to senior management.
- Build a positive and productive team environment.

Sales & Customer Service

- Monitor daily and shift-wise sales performance.
- Ensure the team delivers excellent customer service.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and provide appropriate resolutions.




- Support the team in achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor order accuracy, service speed, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve sales and operational performance.

Inventory & Stock Management

- Monitor stock levels and ensure adequate product availability.
- Coordinate stock replenishment to avoid stock-outs.
- Verify incoming stock and ensure proper storage.
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Monitor wastage, damages, shortages, and stock variances.
- Take appropriate action to minimize inventory loss and wastage.

Cash & Billing Management

- Monitor all billing and cash-handling activities during the shift.
- Ensure accurate POS operations and order entry.
- Supervise cash, card, and UPI transactions.
- Verify shift-wise sales and cash reports.
- Ensure proper cash handover at the end of the shift.
- Immediately report cash discrepancies or billing irregularities.

Hygiene, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure the outlet maintains excellent cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular checks of workstations, counters, storage areas, and customer areas.
- Ensure employees follow grooming, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
- Ensure all food-handling and operational procedures comply with company standards.
- Report equipment breakdowns, maintenance requirements, or safety issues promptly.

Reporting & Administration

- Prepare and maintain daily shift reports.
- Monitor sales, stock, wastage,



attendance, and operational records.
- Communicate important shift updates to the Store/Area Manager.
- Maintain proper shift handover between incoming and outgoing teams.
- Report incidents, customer complaints, stock discrepancies, and other operational concerns.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in Shift Management, preferably in FMCG, Retail, Food & Beverage, or similar operations.

Leadership: Strong ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a team.

Operations: Positive understanding of outlet/store operations and SOP implementation.

Customer Handling: Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.

Sales: Ability to monitor sales performance and work toward achieving targets.

Inventory: Knowledge of stock control, stock reconciliation, wastage management, and product handling.

Cash & POS: Experience with POS systems, billing, cash handling, card payments, and UPI transactions.

Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in Hindi, Bengali, or English.

Personal Qualities: Responsible, punctual, disciplined, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.

Team Player: Ability to coordinate effectively with Crew Members, Senior Crew Members, and senior management.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: Competitive monthly salary based on experience, skills, and interview performance.

Working Hours: Shift-based duty, including weekends and holidays as per operational requirements.

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month
