About the Role

We are looking for a creative, experienced, and detail-oriented Senior Interior Designer to independently lead interior design projects from concept development to execution and handover.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in space planning, design concepts, material selection, modular furniture, finishes, hardware, estimation, technical detailing, 3D visualization, and site execution, along with excellent client management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead projects from concept development through execution and final handover.
- Understand client requirements, preferences, budgets, and functional needs.
- Develop creative and practical design concepts, mood boards, layouts, colour schemes, and material palettes.
- Prepare detailed space plans, furniture layouts, ceiling plans, flooring plans, lighting layouts, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Create 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SketchUp; knowledge of other design/rendering software is an advantage.
- Prepare professional design presentations, 3D visualisations, and renderings for clients.
- Prepare and review BOQs, estimates, budgets, material specifications, and procurement requirements.
- Select and specify materials, finishes, modular furniture, hardware, lighting, fixtures, accessories, and décor elements.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure accurate execution, quality, dimensions, and design intent.
- Review shop drawings, material samples, mock-ups, and fabrication details.
- Resolve design and execution-related issues and ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.
- Lead, guide,



and mentor junior designers and ensure quality and consistency of project deliverables.
- Maintain solid client relationships and ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
- Stay updated with current design trends, materials, finishes, furniture, technology, and sustainable design practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6 –8 years of relevant experience, with proven ability to independently handle projects.
- Strong experience in residential, commercial, healthcare, hospitality, or high-end interiors.
- Mandatory proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and SketchUp 3D.
- Strong knowledge of space planning, furniture, modular furniture, materials, finishes, hardware, lighting, accessories, and technical detailing.
- Prepare and present concept designs, mood boards, material palettes, furniture layouts, colour schemes, design presentations, and 3D visualizations.
- Positive understanding of BOQs, estimation, budgeting, procurement, and site execution.
- Strong design, presentation, client management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and project management abilities with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong leadership skills and ability to guide and mentor junior designers.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for detail, proportion, colour, materials, and aesthetics.

Qualification & Portfolio

- Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture (B.Arch).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative concepts, technical drawings, 3D visualisations, completed projects, and execution experience.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
