About the Role

Southgate Hotels is looking for an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving room revenue, banquet sales, corporate business, events, and new business opportunities while building strong relationships with clients and partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Generate business from corporate clients, travel agents, tour operators, event companies, and local businesses.
- Drive sales for hotel rooms, banquets, conferences, weddings, events, and corporate catering.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key corporate and travel trade clients.
- Conduct client meetings, sales calls, property visits, presentations, and site inspections.
- Handle corporate and group bookings from enquiry to closure.
- Coordinate with the Front Office, Reservations, F&B;, Banquets, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and pricing to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts,



and regular updates for management.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets while maintaining strong customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

- 3–7 years of relevant experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales.
- Strong knowledge of corporate, MICE, banquet, and travel-trade business.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Solid client network and business-development mindset.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and confident.
- Good knowledge of local and corporate markets.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
