Position: Online Math Tutor

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Shift Timings: 2:30 AM to 7:30 AM IST (US Shift)

Work Schedule: 6 days a week (5 mandatory hours/day) with 1 rotational weekday off

Target Audience: K-12 Students (US Curriculum)

Role Overview

We are looking for an energetic, patient, and knowledgeable Online Math Tutor to teach K-12 students in the United States. You will be responsible for conducting live, interactive 1-on-1 or small group online classes, helping students grasp mathematical concepts, build problem-solving confidence, and excel in their academics.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver Interactive Classes: Conduct engaging 1-on-1 or small group online live Math sessions following the US K-12 curriculum (Elementary to High School Math).
- Concept Clarity & Engagement: Simplify complex mathematical concepts using visual aids, real-world examples, and interactive tools.
- Student Assessment: Monitor individual student progress, assign homework/practice exercises, and evaluate performance regularly.
- Parent Communication: Provide regular, constructive feedback to parents regarding student attendance, engagement,



and academic growth.
- Session Preparation: Plan lesson content, review student learning needs, and adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.

Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Education, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching or tutoring Math (K-12 US curriculum preferred, e.g., Common Core, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills (neutral accent suited for US students).
- Shift Availability: Must be strictly available to work the 2:30 AM to 7:30 AM IST shift, 6 days a week.
- Technical Infrastructure:
- High-speed broadband internet connection (minimum 50 Mbps).
- Functional laptop/desktop with a HD webcam and noise-canceling headset.
- Digital writing pad/stylus (preferred for solving math equations).
- Uninterrupted power backup.

Key Competencies

- Solid analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities.
- High patience and empathy toward young learners.
- Ability to maintain high energy levels during early morning

Pay: ₹300.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 per week
